What is the real cause of snoring? It’s really tough to answer if we’re talking about only one reason. It’s truly a fusion of several fundamental contributors.
Medically, snoring is defined as a noise caused by vibration from the airways of the respiratory tract that only appears during sleep. The big question here is that, why, of all state, do we only experience snoring during restful moments? Well, while we breathe 24/7, the likelihood that one snores during waking hours is very slim. This is due to the factor that only relaxed muscles can result to snoring.
During sleep, all our voluntary muscles are relaxed. The throat, in the same way as the triceps are relaxed is also resting while we sleep. The fact that tissues in the throat are soft, adds to the eventual output of vibrating sounds. Once this tissue eases out, the passage of air will turn into a narrower passage. As you can see, narrowed passages causes louder noise because there is more room for friction, thus the vibration. These same factors are also pointed as the reasons why there are differences in the loudness, pitch and tone of snores.
Loudness of snoring depends on the strength of flowing air through the airways. Faster speed of wind makes snoring louder and more booming. However, babies are capable for snoring. They can create only mild noise by respiratory tract. It seems that something is jammed in his breathing ways.
But while it may appear to both genders at any age, men are more often affected by this condition than women and middle-aged men are most likely to be the victims. This is due to the reason that men have more fleshy necks since theirs are a bit wider than women’s. This factor combined with the speed of air, the result is most likely to be snoring.
Naturally women produce progesterone hormones. This inhibits snoring and also less susceptible irritating sounds. Basically this hormone helps to relieve a person’s nocturnal quandary; some anti-snoring strategies are notorious to use progesterone as their fundamental component.
Improper lifestyle also results in snoring. These include:
Allergies create clogs in airways.
Allergy medicines can dry the nasal cavities.
Cold and flu, this explains why some people only experience snoring when they are sick.
Excessive intake of alcohol.
Thicken tissue of the nasal route. Sometimes surgeries can provide the rate and intensity of snoring.
Unusually bigger stomach or nerve.
Annoyance of airways for highly using of nasal sprays.
Abnormally large tonsils or adenoids
Smoking creates tenderness in airways.
Swelling of the thyroid gland or goiter.
Blocking the air flow by larger tongue.
Medicines which use for relaxation.
Obesity
Disorganized control of neuron on nasal membranes.

Abortion- Mention this word and you will definitely get contrasted reactions and views from different people. For some, it reminds them of the inhuman act they committed when they ended the life of an innocent child they’d conceived. For others, it brings a sense of joy as they got rid of a child conceived of the beastly act of rape, a child sired by an irresponsible man, a child conceived of a liar and immature man not ready to start a family.
Abortion is defined as the intentional termination of pregnancy after conception. Women kill the undeveloped embryo or fetus to end the pregnancy.
Abortion has for many years been a controversial subject. However, as the years come and go, more and more countries have softened their stance on abortion. The latest statistics indicate that 54 countries, representing 61% of the world’s population, allow abortion. However, 97 countries, representing 39% of the world’s population, have laws that do not permit it. It’s a known fact, nevertheless,, that abortion is still commonly practiced in most of the nations that don’t allow it.
Good or not, legal or illegal, abortion has its dangers. Anyone considering abortion should know the risks associated with the practice. I’ll take a brief look at some of the dangers.
Death
Abortion can lead to death. The causes of abortion related deaths include infection, embolism and hemorrhage. For instance, abortion is the fifth highest cause of maternal deaths in the US. However, most abortion related deaths are not reported as such.
Ovarian, Cervical and Liver Cancer
The relative risk of cervical cancer for women who have carried out an abortion is 2.3 compared to women who have not had abortions. The risk is greater for women who have had two or more abortions- 4.92 relative risk. Increased risks of ovarian and liver cancer have also been linked to single and multiple abortions.
Other risks associated with abortion include endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), placenta previa, cervical lacerations, uterine perforation and handicapped newborns in later pregnancies.
Handicapped children in later pregnancies
Abortion is associated with uterine and cervical damage which could lead to increased risk of labor complications, abnormal development of placenta in pregnancies that follow and risk of premature delivery. These are the main causes of handicaps among children who’ve been born.
Other dangers associated with abortion include endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), ectopic pregnancy, placenta previa, cervical lacerations and uterine preforation.
For all the above mentioned risks of abortion, there is increased risk for women who have had multiple abortions. This is noteworthy since 45% of all abortions are repeats.
In my view, since some of the risks associated with abortion are grave; for instance death, abortion should be carried out only when one is in a very difficult situation.
